Affichage Sauvage was an experiment in hanging work in the landscape. One of the Monochrome fabric paintings was hung in a variety of settings, until it was left as a permanent exhibition in the branch of a large tree in a field adjacent to a new housing development.
This was the last project I completed before leaving Irvine. As the field had been one of the first places I had enjoyed upon arriving in the suburban wasteland three years prior, it seemed a fitting location for this final showing.
As a further component to the project, an online notice was published for friends suggesting that I had recreated our living room in this grassland, and that they should go look at it should they want one last event at the Galérie Lénine.
